Annual General Meeting
The Annual General Meeting was successfully held on 16th November, 2024 at Diocesan Boys’ School. We were delighted to have the Chairperson of the 32nd HKUYL, Mr WONG, Lok Hin Isaac, deliver the Annual Recap, and the Treasurer of the 32nd HKUYL, Mr CHIANG, Shing Hin Jeffrey, present the Financial Report of the previous session. Passing on the blazing torch, the Chairperson of the 33rd HKUYL, Mr HUNG, Chung Hei Anson, delivered an enlightening speech on the prospects and aspirations of the Union in the upcoming year. Finally, the Treasurer of the 33rd HKUYL, Ms TSUI, Tsz Yau Catherine, presented the Financial Budget.
The occasion gathered both Campers and Alumni to witness the official commencement of the 33rd Hong Kong Union for Young Leaders. On behalf of the 33rd HKUYL, we would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to the 32nd HKUYL and our alumni for their continuous support and contribution towards the Union.
We were delighted to have Mrs Rachel Cartland as our Guest Speaker at the Annual General Meeting. Mrs Cartland is a former British colonial officer who joined the Hong Kong government in 1972 and served as the Assistant Director of Social Welfare. She has also contributed her expertise to several non-governmental charitable organisations. Mrs Cartland shared her experience in founding Cartland Consulting and her insights on what makes a future leader.
We would like to express our sincerest gratitude to Mrs Cartland for partaking in the Annual General Meeting and deeply appreciate her dedication as a distinguished leader with extensive contributions across the political and social services sectors.
