Annual General Meeting
The Annual General Meeting (AGM) will start off the year with the official commencement of the 32nd HKUYL. Succeeding the opening ceremony, the Annual General Meeting will begin with a report of achievements of the previous year and the objectives for the coming year. Advisors, alumni, and member school participants (hereafter known as ‘Campers’) will receive a brief of the aims and objectives for the coming year.
The Annual General Meeting was successfully convened on the 26th November, 2023, at St. Paul’s College. Mr TAI, Zi Heng Wyatt, the Chairperson of the 31st HKUYL, delivered the Annual Report, while Mr HUI, Cheuk Fung Thomas, the Treasurer of the 31st HKUYL, presented the Financial Report of the previous session. The Chairperson of the 32nd HKUYL, Mr WONG, Lok Hin Isaac, delivered an inspiring speech regarding the Union's vision and mission for the forthcoming year. The Treasurer of the 32nd HKUYL, Mr CHIANG, Shing Hin Jeffrey, presented the Financial Budget.
This significant occasion brought together both Advisors, Campers and Alumni to witness the official commencement of the 32nd Hong Kong Union for Young Leaders. On behalf of the 32nd HKUYL, we would like to express our deep appreciation to the 31st HKUYL and our esteemed alumni for their unwavering support and invaluable contributions to the Union.
We were truly privileged to have Mr. Dominic Cheung, the Artistic Director of Chung Ying Theatre Company, as our distinguished Guest Speaker at the Annual General Meeting. Being an experienced professional in producing, acting and directing, Mr Cheung shared with us his inspiring stories as well as his insights about youth leadership, and on how to live an “outstanding” life.
We would like to express our sincerest gratitude to Mr Cheung for gracing us by partaking in the Annual General Meeting. His unwavering commitment to supporting HKUYL as an Honorary Advisor has been invaluable, and we are incredibly grateful for his continual support and guidance.
