Annual General Meeting
The Annual General Meeting (AGM) will start off the year with the official commencement of the 31st HKUYL. Succeeding the opening ceremony, the Annual General Meeting will begin with a report of achievements of the previous year and the objectives for the coming year. Advisors, alumni, and member school participants (hereafter known as ‘Campers’) will receive a brief of the aims and objectives for the coming year.
The Annual General Meeting was successfully held on 19th November, 2022 at Diocesan Boys’ School. We were delighted to have the Chairperson of the 30th HKUYL, Mr PON, Kai Chung Ryan, deliver the Annual Report and the Vice-Chairperson of the 30th HKUYL, Ms CHAN, Kwan Yi Christine, submit the Financial Report of the previous session. The Chairperson of the 31st HKUYL, Mr TAI, Zi Heng Wyatt, delivered a motivating speech on the vision and mission of the Union in the upcoming year. The Treasurer of the 31st HKUYL, Mr HUI, Cheuk Fung Thomas, presented the Financial Budget.
The occasion gathered both Campers and Alumni to witness the official commencement of the 31st Hong Kong Union for Young Leaders. On behalf of the 31st HKUYL, we would like to express our sincerest gratitude to the 30th HKUYL and our alumni for their continuous support and contribution towards the Union.
We were delighted to have Mr Quinn Lai as our Guest Speaker at the Annual General Meeting. Mr Lai is a serial entrepreneur in Hong Kong and the United States. Being the founder and CEO of EONIQ, a custom watchmaking company, Mr Lai shared his personal endeavours in business as well as the fundamentals of leadership, inspiring us to embark on a path of innovation as future leaders of society.
We would like to express our sincerest gratitude to Mr Lai for partaking in the Annual General Meeting, and for his unfaltering effort in supporting HKUYL as an Honorary Advisor.
